‘Look who’s back’ – Lamine Yamal welcomes Barcelona teammate back to training | OneFootball

Footage stemming from the training ground of La Liga giants Barcelona on Friday is no doubt set to bring a smile to the faces of the club’s supporters the world over.

This comes after a sidelined member of Hansi Flick’s squad was welcomed back to first-team duties.

The player in question? Marc Casadó.

Midfielder Casadó has of course spent the last couple of months on the treatment table.

As much came owing to a lateral collateral ligament injury in his right knee, suffered en route to Barcelona’s La Liga victory over Atlético Madrid back in March.

Upon the diagnosis of the problem being made official, Casadó was tipped to miss the remainder of the campaign.

The last couple of weeks, however, saw the 21-year-old take major strides forward in his recovery.

And as alluded to above, on Friday, such efforts on Casadó’s part bore fruit, in the form of a return to group training with the rest of Barca’s squad.

The Spanish international was even afforded a special entrance to the training pitch by teammate Lamine Yamal, footage of which can be seen below:
