Liverpool manager Arne Slot has revealed that Cody Gakpo is an injury doubt for Sunday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Gakpo was replaced with 20 minutes to go of Wednesday night's enthralling Merseyside derby at Goodison Park which saw Liverpool denied all three points by a dramatic stoppage-time equaliser from James Tarkowski.
The Dutchman has been in terrific form for Liverpool this season, scoring 16 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions, but picked up a knock against Everton.
Speaking in his Friday morning media conference, Slot provided updates on Gakpo, Trent Alexander-Arnold and some of Liverpool's other injured players.
"It was intention for us to have Trent Alexander-Arnold play for 30 minutes against Everton and he did that," Slot said. "So he will be training with us again. Joe Gomez is out and Tyler Morton is out as well.
"Cody [Gakpo] is a bit of a doubt as well. I had to take him off because of an injury. Let's see how he is today."

Slot was outraged by the decisions of referee Michael Oliver against Everton, earning himself a red card for his protestations after the game. There was confusion on Thursday as the Premier League announced the Dutchman would serve a two-match touchline ban, only to delete the post from their website and social media platforms.
The former Feyenoord boss admitted he "would have loved to do it differently" if he could go back, and said that he's now awaiting to learn what his punishment will be. He went on to credit the mental fortitude of his players, which he feels has moved up another level from last year.
"We take a lot of positives from the game, but not football wise. We did not play our best game in terms of ball possession," he said. "I have to give credit to David Moyes as well. Since he came in, he has done a tremendous job and he made it a really hard game for us. But the players stood up.
"I did watch the game back from last season and we were mentally much stronger than last season. We went 1-0 down and came back to lead 2-1 until 97 minutes."
Speaking about the red picked up by Jones for a fracas involving Everton's Abdoulaye Doucoure, he said: "The good thing is that we play a lot of games. He will be out for one game. He came back from an injury, so he missed a few games already. I was planning to start him against Plymouth. He wasn't completely recovered yet.
"I liked him a lot when he came in [against Everton]. He had a very good half hour. It was the best part of our game. That was the only part of the game where I felt a bit of comfort and maybe a bit of control.
"I liked a lot that he stood up for the team, but I also think there are other ways for the team and the fans to do that. I will talk to him about that. But it's the same for me. I should have acted differently after the game as well.
"It is an emotional sport and sometimes individuals with emotions make the wrong decisions. That is definitely what I did."
