Liverpool believe they have signed someone who can be as good as Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
It's already been a phenomenal transfer window for the Reds. The first proper window with Richard Hughes at the helm, last year he was still getting settled, but this time around he has duly delivered.

The club's sporting director's mission this summer was to build on the success of last season. To make an even greater squad for Arne Slot than last season's Premier League Champions.
In order to do that, Hughes was handed a major handicap with the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Yet even with that, he's come out on top. He brought in Jeremie Frimpong and Slot has promoted Conor Bradley, giving the Reds two very reliable options in the position.
On top of that to provide more creativity, Hughes has signed Florian Wirtz, and has brought in Milos Kerkez to add extra competition to Andy Robertson's left-back spot.
Now his next mission is to bolster the attack. Slot was missing a no.9 last season. As much as Liverpool scored the most goals in the league, they didn't really have a proper forward they could use.
Darwin Nunez struggled for form and often Luis Diaz had to play the makeshift forward role. Now though, Hughes has fixed this problem as well.
He's brought in Hugo Ekitike. A striker who fits perfectly into Slot's vision of how he wants his no.9 to play. Ekitike is the facilitator and goalscorer that Slot has been talking about for some time.
The Frenchman can score goals and he can be dangerous inside the box, but he's also a very adept link-up player who can bring his teammates into action, or make runs into the channel to draw out opposition defenders and create space for others.
Liverpool's scouting department hold him in very high esteem too. According to David Lynch, the club's scouting team's analysts have estimated that only Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland have had a greater potential under the age of 23 as a forward in Europe in recent years.
That's really high praise for Ekitike but it's true. He's got bags of potential with the qualities that he brings to this team.
Ekitike can absolutely live up to the hype as well. The Reds have brought him in at the right time. Just as he's about to explode.
This is a Mohamed Salah level signing. The kind of which makes Ekitike on par with Haaland, and he can absolutely be the Reds' very own version of the Norwegian and the long-awaited forward the club has been searching for.
