Liverpool interested in free agent Adrien Rabiot | OneFootball

After rejecting proposals to remain at Juventus and sign a new contract, France international Adrien Rabiot (29) remains a free agent.

The Frenchman rejected the Serie A side’s attempts to renew his deal, which expired earlier this summer, in favour of a new challenge. However, that new challenge is yet to present itself. Manchester United have previously shown considerable interest in Rabiot, however, L’Équipe understands that they have now dropped their pursuit – bad timing for a player keen to get back to playing.

There is, however, another Premier League side now showing interest – Liverpool. L’Équipe undertstands that the Merseyside club are looking to further bolster their midfield options and are keeping an eye on Rabiot’s situation. There is yet the possibility that Rabiot remains in Italy with Inter Milan interested, whilst there is also interest from Bayern Munich.

None of the aforementioned suitors are in a particular hurry to conclude a deal, especially given that he can be signed after the closure of the transfer window.
