We're talking about Milos Kerkez of course. Everything has now been agreed and the Reds have unveiled him as their new signing.
Kerkez comes with two years in the Premier League. In his debut season he played more minutes than any other U21 defender in the league.
In his second season, he had provided eight goal contributions and earned a nomination for the PFA's Young Player of the Season award.
The fact that he was nominated alongside the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly, Morgan Rogers and Dean Huijsen shows he is up there with some of the best young players in the Premier League.
He was one of six nominees voted by his fellow peers and if he's one of the best young players in the Premier League, then he's the best in the world as well.
The Premier League is one of the best, if not the best, competition in Europe, and therefore the world.
Kerkez is still only 21-years-old and there are few players with his pedigree in world football who are the same age, and who have been nominated for similar awards.
Liverpool have played a blinder here, bringing him to the club and securing his future. He's so young he could eventually establish himself as one of the best players in the world, too.
And he's got at least a decade of being able to play at the highest level for Liverpool at the very minimum.
