Someone at Liverpool has got to step in. They’ll regret letting one absolute star join Arsenal.
Liverpool are busy in the transfer market this summer, potentially spending record numbers in a bid to improve a title-winning side. That’s no easy feat, of course.

Florian Wirtz is set to be the star arrival. Liverpool are reportedly his chosen club and the Reds are currently in negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen to find a fee.
The shopping won’t stop there, either. Jeremie Frimpong, also of Leverkusen, and Milos Kerkez are linked very strongly with Liverpool and the Reds are expected to push for both.
But we’re hoping they don’t stop there. Liverpool must find a new striker from somewhere as neither Darwin Núñez nor Diogo Jota have been up to scratch.
Both could leave the club this summer, in fact.
Liverpool, then should have their eyes at the top of the market. The very top.
Marca makes it clear that there's a race for Julian Alvarez right now. Atlético Madrid aren't exactly eager to sell but both Liverpool and Arsenal have asked about the player.
The worrying thing, then, is that Arsenal are apparently leading that race. It's something Liverpool just can't let happen, even if it means turning this into an incredibly risky summer.
But Alvarez is a truly incredible player and exactly what the Reds are looking for. They want a striker with bundles of energy, someone able to play without being the absolute star of the side, and who has the versatility to adapt to this attack.
