Lionel Messi included as MLS reveal Best XI of 2024 | OneFootball

Major League Soccer have revealed the Best XI of 2024 on Tuesday.

This year's selection includes seven first-time honourees representing nine MLS clubs and eight countries. Additionally, 10 of the players were 2024 MLS All-Stars.

Columbus Crew and Inter Miami lead the nominations with two players each. The MLS Golden Boot winner, Defender of the Year, and Goalkeeper of the Year also claim a spot.

Goalkeeper: Kristijan Kahlina (Charlotte FC).

Defenders: Jordi Alba (Inter Miami CF), Yeimar Gómez Andrade (Seattle Sounders FC), Steven Moreira (Columbus Crew).

Midfielders: Luciano Acosta (FC Cincinnati), Evander (Portland Timbers), Riqui Puig (LA Galaxy).

Forwards: Christian Benteke (D.C. United), Denis Bouanga (LAFC), Cucho Hernández (Columbus Crew), Lionel Messi (Inter Miami CF).

The final selection is determined by media members, MLS players and MLS club technical staff.
