Leeds United have confirmed the arrival of centre-back Sebastiaan Bornauw.
The newly-promoted Premier League outfit have agreed to pay VfL Wolfsburg £5.2m (€6m) for the 26-year-old.
The 26-year-old Belgian has put pen to paper on a four-year deal after the Whites have agreed to pay VfL Wolfsburg £5.2m (€6m).
Bornauw first made his name at Anderlecht before switching to Köln in 2019 and then joining Wolfsburg in 2021, , where he clocked up nearly 90 Bundesliga appearances and picked up four caps for Belgium.
He becomes the club’s third signing this window, joining Slovenia’s Jaka Bijol and forward Lukas Nmecha.
At the same time, Leeds have parted ways with left-back Junior Firpo, who has left the club after his contract expired on June 30. The 28-year-old is expected to head to Real Betis on a free transfer.
