AC Milan continue their good run in the Champions League with a 2-1 victory over Crvena zvezda in the sixth game of the league phase. At San Siro, the Rossoneri took the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal from Rafael Leão, assisted by Youssouf Fofana. Crvena zvezda equalised in the 67th minute through Nemanja Radonjić, but AC Milan regained control of the match with Tammy Abraham scoring the late winner in the 87th minute. Mister Fonseca's team showed great character and determination despite the challenges faced during the match.
After a balanced start, an injury to Loftus-Cheek forced the Coach to switch up the tactical plan, bringing on Chukwueze. The team's response was positive. Abraham's introduction proved decisive as the striker went on to score the winning goal. The table looks better every week and AC Milan has risen to 12 points total, at the top of the playoff zone and one step away from the direct qualification spaces.

MATCH REPORT The first half began with a brisk pace from both teams. In the 28th minute, an injury forced Loftus-Cheek to leave the field, he was replaced by Chukwueze. Shortly after, in the 29th minute, Morata was also forced to exit due to an injury, making way for Abraham. Despite these setbacks, AC Milan maintained control of the game, taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a well-orchestrated move by Fofana, who set up Leão to make it 1-0. Crvena zvezda tried to respond but the Rossoneri defence held firm, closing the first half in the lead.
In the second half, Crvena zvezda increased the pressure, finding the equaliser in the 67th minute with a precise shot from Radonjić. AC Milan was undeterred and continued to push forward. In the 83rd minute, Fonseca made two strategic substitutions, bringing on Emerson Royal and Camarda to inject fresh energy into the team. The move paid off with Abraham scoring to make it 2-1 in the 87th minute. In the final minutes, the Rossoneri managed their lead intelligently, defending with discipline and looking to strike on the counter.
