Fran Garcia is one of many Real Madrid players who are facing an uncertain future at Santaigo Bernabeu, as the club gear up for a major overhaul in the summer of 2025.
Formerly of the La Fabrica youth academy, Garcia had made his name at Rayo Vallecano, before eventually returning to Real Madrid in 2023.
However, the left-back has not been able to make any significant impact since, largely playing as a second fiddle to Ferland Mendy.
And now, with Real Madrid preparing for big changes to the left-back position in 2025, there is a possibility Fran Garcia could be allowed to leave the club.
The Spanish champions are reportedly looking to bring in Alphonso Davies and former player Miguel Gutierrez, which in turn, could see Mendy and Garcia leave the club next summer.
Keeping that in mind, a recent report from SER Radio (h/t Estadio Deportivo) has offered an interesting update, as far as the left-back’s future is concerned.

As per the report, there is a possibility of Fran Garcia could return to Rayo Vallecano, who have expressed the desire to re-sign the defender.
Indeed, the Spanish outfit appear to be keen on bringing their former star back to Vallecas. However, they are likely to face stiff competition, with Bournemouth and several other European clubs interested in his services.
Acquiring the services of Garcia might be an expensive affair as well, with the defender currently being valued at €15 million by Transfermarkt.
Even if Real Madrid sell at a market price, €15 million will be no pocket change for a club like Rayo Vallecano.
