Paris Saint-Germain lost 3-1 to Toulouse at Parc des Princes' in Kylian Mbappe's final home game for the club.

Mbappe confirmed earlier this week that he would leave PSG at the end of the season upon the expiry of his contract. Though he did not name his next club, it is widely expected that he will join Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old's announcement came days after their shock Champions League elimination at the semi-final stage to Borussia Dortmund, meaning he had only four games left to play for PSG before upping sticks this summer.

The first of those four matches came on Sunday evening, with PSG welcoming Toulouse to the Parc des Princes for Mbappe's last home game.

Mbappe opened the scoring only eight minutes into the contest, racing onto a long ball straight from goalkeeper Arnau Tenas before rounding opposition stopper Guillaume Restes and coolly converting.

But that was as good as it got for PSG, who were quickly pegged back by an equaliser from Thijs Dallinga. Though the hosts dominated proceedings, they then fell behind in the second half to a stunning strike from Yann Gboho.

PSG threw the kitchen sink at Toulouse in search of a late equaliser, only to be undone by a 95th-minute goal from Frank Magri. The defeat meant little in the context of the season given the Ligue 1 title had already been wrapped up by Luis Enrique's side.

Mbappe will end his PSG spell with visits to Nice and Metz in Ligue 1 before taking on Lyon in the Coupe de France title. He will leave the club as their all-time leading scorer and as one of the greatest players in their history.

While Mbappe was preparing to take on Toulouse, his likely future Madrid teammates spent Sunday celebrating their La Liga title with a parade through the Spanish capital.
