Kylian Mbappé will take his place as the highest-paid player upon his arrival at La Liga giants Real Madrid this summer.

That’s according to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, who has provided the latest on the situation late on Friday evening.

It has of course proven a momentous day in the long-running Mbappé-to-Real Madrid transfer saga.

This comes after the attacker himself took to his social media platforms, to at long last make official his imminent departure from Paris Saint-Germain.

Following lengthy negotiations between Mbappé’s entourage, and the Real Madrid brass, his unveiling as the latest headline addition to the latter’s ranks is expected to be made official in short order.

And, in the process, Florentino Pérez and co. will make crystal clear the status of the 25-year-old in the Spanish capital.

This comes amid confirmation that Mbappé is set to become the highest earner in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad.
