Kylian Mbappé and Paris Saint-Germain are embroiled in a messy breakup. The French forward left the club as a free agent last summer, joining Real Madrid, but the tension between the two sides is far from over.
Recently, PSG and Mbappé became entangled in a €55 million legal dispute. While the Frenchman seeks to secure the money he believes the club still owes, the pursuit of the sum suffered another setback.
The commission ruled his request “inadmissible,” according to a source close to the case who spoke to Agence France-Presse (h/t RMC Sport).

This decision backs up the ruling from the Professional Football League’s (LFP) disciplinary commission on Dec. 11, which also deemed Mbappé’s request inadmissible. In the meantime, PSG has taken the LFP to the Paris judicial court to challenge the league’s two earlier decisions that favored Mbappé.
The FFF’s higher appeals commission met on Jan. 30 without hearing from the parties involved and decided on Feb. 11 that the request was inadmissible.
Moreover, the FFF felt that the LFP’s disciplinary commission “rightly decided that no disciplinary action should be taken against the club” due to the ongoing legal proceedings in the Paris court.

A preliminary hearing is set for May 26, which will be the first review of the case, before a main hearing in the coming months.
“This reasoning, which is hard to understand, is preventing Kylian Mbappé from getting justice despite several favorable decisions,” said the player’s lawyer, Delphine Verheyden, in a statement to AFP.
