According to Revelo, Real Madrid players are concerned about when Kylian Mbappé (25) will announce he is joining the club as it could overshadow their achievements this season.

Despite it still being officially unconfirmed, it is widely known that Mbappé will join Real Madrid this summer. The only question that remains appears to be when the Frenchman will announce that he will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain to make the move to the Spanish capital.

It has long been thought that he will only publicly reveal his decision when Paris Saint-Germain’s European campaign has finished, and with Les Parisiens needing to overturn a 1-0 deficit tonight against Borussia Dortmund, there is the risk that the announcement could be coming soon.

This has caused some concern within the Real Madrid team and coaching staff. They’re excited for Mbappé to join the club, but they want the focus to remain on the achievements earned by their current crop of players.

Real Madrid will be celebrating their 36th title and are in a position to reach the Champions League final with their tie against Bayern Munich in the balance (2-2). They would like Mbappé to push his announcement back until after the season has finished, and after players like Nacho (34) – who will be leaving at the end of the campaign – can be given a proper sending-off.
