FC Den Bosch are not allowed to have their fanatical supporters present for their next home game. This concerns the M-side, the long side opposite the main stand. The public prosecutor of professional football in the Netherlands has imposed this punishment after the disorder surrounding the Eerste Divisie match against De Graafschap in October.

Ultra supporters of the Brabant club set off fireworks and afterwards sought confrontation with the visiting fans from Doetinchem. There was also ‘throwing of chairs and pipes back and forth’, according to the KNVB.

A few weeks later it went wrong again in Stadion De Vliert. Vitesse came to visit and again there were supporters, with balaclavas, that stormed the away section via the field.

It is not yet known in which home match the M-Side will remain empty. The Bosschenaren were leaders of the Keuken Kampioen Divisie earlier this season, but have since dropped to sixth place.

SC Cambuur will be FC Den Bosch’s next opponent in Leeuwarden on Tuesday evening.
