Three leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid are in line to drop to the bench for the club’s next outing.

That’s according to Blancos insider Miguel Ángel Díaz of Cope, who confirmed as much this afternoon.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action later tonight, in a La Liga meeting with Espanyol.

Los Blancos will head into proceedings with spirits high in the camp, fresh off a trio of successive victories across all competitions.

As alluded to above, though, three players to have played prominent roles in as much may well be left to watch on from the sidelines on Saturday night.

As per Miguel Ángel Díaz, Carlo Ancelotti is giving serious consideration to affording rests to all of Vinícius Jr, Antonio Rüdiger, and Ferland Mendy against Espanyol.

This comes amid a hectic stretch of fixtures for the reigning Spanish champions at present.

On the other hand, expected to feature from the off later today are the trio of Arda Güler, Luka Modrić, and Fran García.
