Congratulations to Kerolin and Brazil who have won the 2025 Copa America.
The City forward played 108 minutes of a thrilling final against Colombia, with her nation winning 5-4 on penalties following a 4-4 draw.
Brazil had to come from behind three times in the final to earn their ninth Copa America success, including a 96th minute leveler from Marta, which prevented a 2-1 defeat.
Kerolin started proceedings to ensure she featured in all but one of her nation's matches at the tournament, scoring three times.
After securing passage to the final by finishing at the top of Group B before beating Uruguay 5-1 in the semi-final, Arthur Elias’ side lifted the trophy for a fifth successive time.
Kerolin was an unused substitute in her nation’s 2-0 opening victory over Venezuela, but our forward made her mark by scoring a hat-trick in an emphatic 6-0 triumph over Bolivia.
And they sealed their place at Group B’s summit with a 4-1 success over Paraguay and a 0-0 draw with Colombia.
That set up a last-four clash with Uruguay where Kerolin came on in the closing stages, as Brazil booked their place in the final of the prestigious competition with a 5-1 win.
Then, in Saturday’s showdown, they prevailed after a pulsating tie with Colombia, holding their nerve in sudden death penalties to retain the trophy.
Everyone at Manchester City would like to congratulate Kerolin and her Brazil team-mates on their triumph at the 2025 Copa America.
