The winger has been selected in the starting XI for City’s Barclays Women’s Super League clash against Arsenal at the Joie Stadium.

She’s the 17th player in our professional history to rack up a century of games in blue, and just the sixth member of our current squad to reach the milestone.

The England international has found the net 32 times over those 100 appearances, with 21 of those strikes coming in the WSL.

Only Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, Georgia Stanway, Lauren Hemp, Nikita Parris and Caroline Weir have grabbed more league goals for City, with Kelly adding six more in the FA Cup and another five in the Continental Cup.

Joining the Club from Everton in the summer of 2020, Kelly was an instant hit at the Joie Stadium, finishing her first season at the top of the scoring charts alongside Sam Mewis with 16 strikes.

Her debut campaign would end with both the Club’s Player of the Season trophy and a spot in the PFA WSL Team of the Year, despite being cut short due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

The winger recovered in time to help City reach the 2022 FA Cup final and earn a spot in England’s historic Euro 2022-winning side, with Kelly grabbing the winning goal against Germany at Wembley to secure the trophy.

Our number nine hit top form for Gareth Taylor’s side once again the following season, featuring 30 times in all competitions with six goals and 14 assists to her name.

And the 26-year-old has continued to be a key fixture for City across 2023/24 so far, with 15 goal involvements in 28 appearances ahead of kick-off today.

Everyone at Manchester City would like to congratulate Chloe on reaching 100 appearances!
