Reports in Italy claim that Juventus and Bundesliga side Werder Bremen are in negotiations over a potential sale of Next Gen graduate Samuel Mbangula, but the Bianconeri have turned down the German side’s initial offer.
Mbangula, along with the likes of Timothy Weah, Nico Gonzalez and Douglas Luiz, is among the list of players who could be allowed to leave the Allianz Stadium in the right circumstances this summer.
While there had been talks between Juve and Nottingham Forest over a potential double deal involving both Mbangula and Weah, reports in Italy now claim that the Belgian winger is now in talks over a potential move to Germany.

According to updates from Orazio Accomando of SportMediaset, Werder Bremen have seen an opening bid of €8m for Mbangula turned down.
The Bundesliga side are still ‘pushing’ for the 21-year-old’s signature, but Juventus are reportedly holding firm on their valuation of €15m.

Mbangula has only had one year of senior professional football under his belt, having made his competitive Juventus debut as a starter in a 3-0 win over Como in the opening game of the 2024-25 Serie A season.
Mbangula marked that occasion with the opening goal after just 23 minutes. He then went on to provide four goals and five assists across all competitions in his maiden senior campaign, and earned a call-up to the Belgium national team in November.
