Juventus have stepped up their pursuit of Jadon Sancho, opening talks with Manchester United and the winger’s representatives as the Italian side look to reinforce Igor Tudor’s revamped attack, according to reports from TuttoJuve, Bianconera News, and SpazioJ.

Negotiations between Juventus and Manchester United have begun in earnest, with United setting an initial asking price of close to €30 million, or roughly £25 million. The Turin club, having just secured the signature of Jonathan David for their frontline, are making Sancho a key target to add further unpredictability and creativity to their attack.

Sancho’s willingness to move appears clear. Multiple sources, including The Guardian via Bianconera News, confirm that the England international has made Juventus his first choice, turning down approaches from Turkish clubs as he seeks to remain in one of Europe’s top five leagues. Reports also suggest he would consider reducing his wage demands in order to complete the switch to Serie A.

Juventus have tabled a substantial contract offer to Sancho: a four-year deal until June 2029, with an option for an additional season, and a proposed salary of €5 million per year plus bonuses. The club is banking on the player’s openness and desire for a fresh start, hoping to reach personal terms quickly to build momentum in negotiations with United.

Last season, Sancho returned to the Premier League on loan at Chelsea after rebuffing a move to Turin the previous winter and turning down Juventus in favor of Stamford Bridge last summer. However, his year in London yielded mixed results. He ended the campaign with five goals and ten assists across 41 appearances in all competitions, but started only 26 times. Chelsea opted not to exercise their purchase option, sending him back to Manchester United after paying a €5 million penalty.

At 25, Sancho finds himself at a crossroads. United’s new project under Amorim does not appear to include him, making a move away from England increasingly likely and a switch to Juventus an attractive proposition for both sides. The Bianconeri, mindful of recent struggles for attacking inspiration, see Sancho as a potential catalyst—assuming the two clubs can reach a compromise on the transfer fee.

Discussions are expected to accelerate in the coming days as Juventus work both to edge out competition and secure United’s approval. The pursuit of Sancho signals continued ambition as the club rebuilds, and his arrival would mark a major statement in their summer transfer plans.
