Reports in Italy claim that Juventus are looking at the possibility of appointing Florent Ghisolfi as the club’s new sporting director once his departure from Roma is officially formalised.
Ghisolfi, who has spent the last year as Roma’s sporting director, is set to leave his post by mutual consent after just 12 months in the job.
Speaking at Gian Piero Gasperini’s introductory press conference on Tuesday, Claudio Ranieri confirmed that the club will soon begin looking for replacements.

Though his departure from Roma has not yet been made official, Ghisolfi is already being linked with new opportunities within Serie A.
Juventus are also without a sporting director as things stand, following the departure of Cristiano Giuntoli earlier in the summer.
The club’s senior management has undergone some restructuring during the off-season, as Damien Comolli has come in as the new general manager, and there could also be new sporting and technical directors appointed.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are already considering a possible appointment of Ghisolfi at the Allianz Stadium. Giovanni Albanese writes that Ghisolfi and Comolli would be a match made in heaven, given their common experiences in France and their shared advocacy for decision making based on data and statistics.
Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are also considering Fiorentina director Daniele Prade, as well as his Viola colleague Roberto Goretti, who is currently the leading candidate to become Juventus’s new technical director.
