Juventus v Cagliari

Scorers: Vlahović 15′ (PEN); Marin 88′ (PEN)

Sent off: Conceição 89′

Juventus were awarded a penalty early on after VAR had spotted a handball in the box, which in-form Dušan Vlahović slotted home and delivered a tribute to injured teammate Gleison Bremer.

Into the second half and the home side almost doubled their advantage through some excellent work from Francisco Conceição, who jinked his way past his man but his shot from a tight angle was saved by Simone Scuffet.

Vlahović then thumped a volley towards the Cagliari stopper, but Scuffet was once again on hand to deny Juventus.

With just minutes remaining, the Sardinians were awarded a penalty, and Juve were made to pay for those missed chances when Răzvan Marin smashed home the equaliser.

To make matters worse for the Bianconeri, Conceição was sent off late on when he received a second yellow card for diving.

Cagliari even went close to scoring a shock winner, as Adam Obert hit the post deep into stoppage time.
