Juventus and Napoli on alert as Inter inquire about Hojlund | OneFootball

There’s growing Serie A interest in Manchester United forward Rasmus Hojlund as Inter have reportedly inquired about the striker after Juventus and Napoli.

Inter have made preliminary contact to sound out Hojlund and Manchester United’s availability to a summer transfer.

According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, Inter were interested in Hojlund even before his move to Manchester United from Atalanta. However, the Nerazzurri could not match the fee exceeding €75m paid by the Red Devils to sign the Denmark international in 2023.

Romano and Moretto reported that Inter have now inquired about the striker’s availability and the possible terms of the deal with Manchester United.

“Inter will have an important summer in attack, with some big changes,” said Romano, suggesting that the Nerazzurri will listen to offers for Mehdi Taremi, Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa.

Inter’s domestic rivals Juventus and Napoli also opened preliminary talks for Hojlund in April.

Inter and Juventus will have an extra transfer window available at the start of June as they are the two Serie A representatives at the Club World Cup.

Inter have also been linked with Hojlund’s teammate and ex-Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee.
