The future of Rodrygo continues to remain uncertain as we head into the final few weeks of the transfer market.
The Brazilian has failed to woo new coach Xabi Alonso and may see his game-time diminish greatly next season.
Despite receiving offers from various clubs across Europe, Rodrygo has stayed put, waiting for his chance and fighting for a place in the starting eleven next season.
However, a recent report from Fabrizio Romano suggests Manchester City are indeed interested in the services of Rodrygo, thus confirming earlier reports.
The Premier League giants, in fact, may double down on Rodrygo if their star winger Savinho leaves Etihad this summer.
The Brazilian has had a difficult time in England so far and may join Jack Grealish through the exit door.

If Savinho does leave, Man City would want to sign a new forward, and that is where Rodrygo comes into the fray.
It appears Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of the Brazilian international, who has been linked with a move to Etihad multiple times in the past.
Rodrygo, for his part, may fancy joining Man City, knowing someone like Guardiola could do wonders for his game and may even help him revive his career.
The coming week, therefore, could prove to be crucial for Rodrygo as he looks to make an impact in Real Madrid’s opening game of the season.
Real Madrid, meanwhile, have already identified Portuguese starlet Rodrigo Mora as a potential candidate should the Brazilian leave the club this summer.
Therefore, it will be interesting to see how the Savinho saga evolves and whether or not it leads to Rodrygo’s exit from Real Madrid this summer.
