Sky Germany reports that Jürgen Klopp has no intention of becoming Real Madrid’s head coach, despite recent rumours linking him to the club.
At the beginning of the year, Klopp joined Red Bull as their Global Head of Soccer. After Madrid’s Champions League exit, the former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund manager was linked as a replacement for Carlo Ancelotti.
Klopp has received continued enquiries from clubs and national federations about becoming a head coach next season, but he has no intention of leaving his role at Red Bull anytime soon.
Since beginning his role as Global Head of Soccer, Klopp has been busy visiting every Red Bull-related club, but his attention has mainly been focused on Leipzig in recent weeks following the sacking of Marco Rose. There were even rumours linking him to the role as Rose’s replacement, despite the rumours being denied, many people in German football still wonder if this is a secret possibility for Leipzig in their pursuit of the Bundesliga title.
