Former Roma boss Jose Mourinho got the warmest of welcomes in today’s unveiling at Fenerbahce.

After being dismissed by Roma in January after 2,5 years, the Special One agreed to move to Turkey and sign a two-year deal with Fenerbahce.

His arrival in the Turkish Super Lig made the headlines in all the media across the world.

Mourinho’s presentation took place in Fenerbahce’s packed stadium.

In his first speech as Fenerbahce head coach, Mourinho promised to represent his new colors valiantly and with passion.

“First of all,” said the Special One, “I want to thank you for your love – the love I felt from the first moment my name was connected with Fenerbahce.”

“Normally a coach is loved after victories. In this case I feel loved before victories.”

“That for me is a big responsibility that I feel and I promise you that from this moment on I belong to your family.”

“This shirt is my skin. Football is passion and there is no better place to feel that passion.”
