Jonatan Giráldez has confirmed he will be stepping down as Barcelona Femení’s head coach.
The 32-year-old took the reins with the Liga F champions in 2021 following a two-year spell as assistant to Lluís Cortés.

Since stepping up in his own right, Giráldez won back-to-back Spanish titles in addition to last season’s Women’s Champions League.
But the Vigo native is set to walk away from the Estadi Johan Cruyff when his current deal expires at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
“I informed the club that I intend not to renew my contract”, Giráldez confirmed on Monday.
Barça are currently on course to reclaim their Liga F crown for a fifth successive year with a 100% record from their opening 12 games.
