Chelsea legend John Terry has been spotted wearing his boots again and got the Chelsea colours on for training at Cobham.
Terry has been retired for many years now but has still kept himself in shape and to be honest, you just know he would still do a fantastic job if he was called upon.
Obviously he wont be getting called up for the Chelsea senior team, unfortunately, but Terry did get involved in the U21s training session this week, and it was caught on camera in what will feel like some nostalgic viewing for Blues fans today.
Terry is an academy coach and is still very much involved in the club. And as you will see from the images below, Terry donned the boots once again and posted about it in his Instagram account.
He took a hands on approach in training this week and was even seen putting in a slide tackle. I’m sure other coaches may have had a bit of a heart on their mouths moments, knowing what a committed player and tough tackler Terry can be, hoping the players avoided any injuries from him!
As you can see above, he was coaching and playing in a combined mix earlier this week and what an experience this would be for the young lads coming through. Getting to play and train alongside Terry as well as get coached by him really is something.
As you can see below, Terry also posted about it on his Instagram account and was buzzing to get his boots back on. I’m pretty sure his boots always stay ready just in case he ever gets that call from Enzo Maresca to step put onto the Stamford Bridge turf once again!
