Chelsea are going through a difficult run at the moment and Jason Cundy has named who he’s waiting for to start delivering on a consistent basis.

The Blues got dumped out of the FA Cup on Saturday evening by Brighton, with fans angered by Enzo Maresca’s comments after the game.

Chelsea still sit fourth and on course to qualify for the Champions League, but their only chance of silverware is now the Conference League.

Cundy singles out Chelsea player who needs to give more

The Blues are currently on a run of two wins in their last nine games in all competitions, and this form is a far cry from earlier in the season where Maresca’s men were playing some of the best football in the league.

Chelsea were free flowing in attack and blowing teams away, and it’s a major concern how there’s been a collective drop off from the whole team.

Maresca will be scratching his head as to why he’s now struggling to get anything out of these players having managed to do so earlier in the campaign.

The attack looked particularly toothless against Brighton, and Cole Palmer can’t do it all on his own, with the likes of Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke needing to step up.

Cundy has singled out Sancho as someone who needs to start performing and he’s waiting for the winger to start delivering on a consistent basis.

“This is a Chelsea team that relies on these players to give us creativity and width, I don’t see Sancho taking players on,” he told talkSPORT.

“I’m still waiting for Sancho to deliver a consistent performance every week that you want to see, and he should be delivering.”

John Obi Mikel warned Sancho he can’t afford to relax and the England international hasn’t registered a goal contribution since the draw with Crystal Palace at the start of January.

Chelsea will be hoping Sancho, who was heavily criticised by Simon Jordan can return to form on Friday night when the Blues return to Brighton in desperate need of three points.
