Jadon Sancho has been speaking about one of his Chelsea team-mates and explained why it’s great to play with him.

Sancho joined the Blues on an initial loan deal from Manchester United on deadline day last summer, which will become permanent for around £25m, as long as Chelsea don’t finish in the bottom six.

The winger had a bright start to life at Stamford Bridge as he registered three assists in his first three games, whilst he scored his first goals against Southampton and Tottenham.

However, Sancho is currently on a difficult run of form having not scored in his last 16 games, and he’s only managed one goal contribution in 2025.

The 24-year-old started in Sunday’s win against Leicester, but wasn’t able to have much of an impact on proceedings, and Chelsea need him to get back to his best for the difficult run in.

Sancho seems happy with life at Chelsea, and is expected to remain at the club, despite reports suggesting he could return to Manchester United at the end of the season.

The England international appears to be a popular member of the squad, and he had praise for one player, who he claims it great to play with.

“It’s great playing with Cucu behind me,” he said as cited on X.com.

“This time I wasn’t but I just know that feeling when he is behind you. He’s 100% all the time, you just know he’s going to give it his all.”
