After a thumping victory over Nottingham Forest, Manchester City again dropped points in the Premier League. They had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace and have big challenges lined up ahead of them across the competitions.
The Citizens are preparing to travel abroad to face Juventus in the Champions League. It will be an important game for their confidence and momentum considering the fact that they will lock horns with the likes of Manchester United and Aston Villa after this fixture.
Defence
Never a great sight for a goalkeeper to concede the lead but Stefan Ortega had no fault and should keep doing the good work with the gloves. Kyle Walker is not having his best time but Pep Guardiola doesn’t have many options to replace him with.
Hence, Walker is likely to keep his spot in a three-man backline consisting of Ruben Dias and Josko Gvardiol.

Midfield
As key players are still unavailable, the Citizens are unlikely to alter much in the lineup. Rico Lewis should once again form the holding midfield duo with Ilkay Gundogan.
Savinho wasn’t at his best but could get another start this week on the right wing. It means Bernardo Silva will once again be operating in the central areas alongside Kevin De Bruyne. A lot will be expected from the Belgian midfielder as he has the ability to make a difference on big occasions.
Though Matheus Nunes faired decent enough on the left flank, Jack Grealish might get the nod this time as he will allow more control of the ball.
Erling Haaland continues to lead the offensive front. He scored a goal in the previous game but needs to do more to bring positive results for his side.
Rodri, Oscar Bobb, Mateo Kovacic, John Stones, Nathan Ake, Manuel Akanji, and Phil Foden are out of contention.
