Multiple sources claim that Fiorentina star Moise Kean will miss today’s game against Cagliari, with the Italian forward not even expected to be on the bench.

Fiorentina will be forced to cope without their star striker Kean for a Serie A match against Cagliari today (kick-off at 18:30 CET).

Firenzeviola and Violanews broke the news a few minutes ago, and it was quickly confirmed by Sky Sport Italia as well.

According to Firenzeviola, Kean won’t even go to the bench as he has already left the Viola’s hotel in Sardinia.

The reason for the Italian striker’s absence in today’s game is still uncertain, but according to Violanews, it may be related to a previous ankle injury with which the Italian striker has been dealing in recent weeks.

Sky Sport says Fiorentina will explain Kean’s absence before kick-off.

Kean is the second-best scorer in Serie A this season with 17 goals in 29 league games.

Lucas Beltran and Albert Gudmundsson will lead the Fiorentina attack in Cagliari.
