Italian journalist Paolo Condo has delivered a flattering verdict on Inter Milan wingback Federico Dimarco after Italy’s win on Monday.

In his analysis for La Repubblica, as reported by FCInterNews, Condo described the 26-year-old as one of ‘the best wingers in the world.’

Condo’s praise was nothing less than what Federico Dimarco has deserved after another brilliant performance for Gli Azzurri.

The in-form Inter star cannot stop impressing for club and country.

Yesterday, he delivered another assist to Davide Frattesi as Italy strolled to a 4-1 win at Udinese’s Bluenergy Stadium.

Luciano Spalletti’s men are in firm control of proceedings in the UEFA Nations League Group A2.

Indeed, they sit at the top of the pile, six points clear of third-placed Belgium, with three wins and a draw after four games.

Only second-placed France could dethrone the Italians.

However, a place in the newly formatted Nations League quarter-finals looks like a virtual certainty.

Journalist Paolo Condo Praises Inter Milan Wingback Federico Dimarco After Excellent Italy Performance

“Dimarco flies very high in the hierarchy of the best left-footed wingers on the international scene,” Condo was adamant.

But Dimarco wasn’t the only Inter stalwart mentioned in Condo’s rave review on Italy’s scintillating showing.

Alessandro Bastoni and Riccardo Calafiori continue to amaze.

They should be the backbone of the national team for the next decade.

“Bastoni and Calafiori are defenders who know how to stay dominantly in every area of the field,” Condo added.

The renowned journalist couldn’t help but give Frattesi a well-deserved credit.

“Frattesi is the additional striker who settles the outstanding scores.”

Indeed, the ex-Sassuolo ace looks like a midfielder trapped in the body of a striker.

He has netted three goals in four outings during the ongoing Nations League cycle.

Frattesi’s prolificacy could be a massive boost for Inter moving forward.
