Simone Inzaghi will be exceedingly cautious with the fitness of key players ahead of the Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have three more matches in Serie A this season.
Then, at the end of the campaign, the Nerazzurri face a season-defining match in the form of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
There is very little doubt that the priority for Inter will be the Champions League at this point.
Of course, Inter have not given up on the league title just yet. They are still only three points behind Napoli.
But Inter know that they are just ninety minutes away from the most prestigious piece of silverware in European club football.

For this reason, reports Tuttosport, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is not taking any chances with player fitness.
The Nerazzurri coach is well aware of the physical toll that the season has already taken on many players.
Inzaghi knows that if he takes risks with player fitness, it could mean injuries. And the last thing that the Inter coach wants is to have players missing from the starting eleven against PSG.
Therefore, Tuttosport reports, Inzaghi will manage minutes exceedingly carefully.
The Inter coach will not rush injured players like Lautaro Martinez or Benjamin Pavard back to action.
And for the rest of the regular starters, it’s not as though they won’t play at all in Serie A. However, they will not start week in week out, as they will aim to rest and find their best form ahead of the final.
