Inter win Team of the Year award at the Gazzetta Sports Awards | OneFootball

On the evening of Tuesday 17 December, the awards ceremony for the 'Gazzetta Sports Awards', which were established by La Gazzetta dello Sport to celebrate the biggest achievers of the sporting year as it comes to a close, was held in Genoa. Many impressive feats have been achieved by different athletes and teams in 2024, including, above all, Inter's journey towards the Club's 20th Scudetto title and the Second Star.

The Club took centre stage at the awards ceremony for the Gazzetta Sports Awards, which is now in its tenth edition, with Inter winning the "Squadra dell'Anno" ("Team of the Year") award thanks to the team's extraordinary results in 2023/24.

Simone Inzaghi's men were officially honoured for the following reason:

"A dominant league campaign which ended with the Scudetto worth a second star and victory in the Supercoppa Italiana. Inter stood out in 2023/24, and that is why they are being honoured with the "Team of the Year" award in Genoa tonight".

The event was held at the Palasport in Genoa, European Capital of Sport 2024, where the award was collected on behalf of Inter by Nerazzurri President and CEO Sport Giuseppe Marotta.
