Inter are closing on an agreement with Parma for striker Ange-Yoan Bonny, hoping to do a deal for €24m, according to transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano.

The forward has been a target for some months, with the interest inevitably intensifying once former Parma coach Cristian Chivu came over to Inter as a replacement for Simone Inzaghi.

According to transfer expert Romano, negotiations are progressing well and Inter are hopeful they can shake hands with Parma for a €24m fixed fee.

It is an improvement on the €22m plus a further €23m in bonuses, closing on the €25m asking price.

The 21-year-old came to the Stadio Tardini in the summer of 2021 from Chateauroux and helped them to promotion into Serie A.

He scored six goals and provided four assists in 37 Serie A appearances this season, securing their top flight status on the final day.

Bonny is seen as a suitable understudy to Marcus Thuram, because Marko Arnautovic, Joaquin Correa and Mehdi Taremi are all expected to leave at the end of the campaign.
