Inter Milan have reportedly named their price for Valentin Carboni who has recently emerged as a transfer target of Olympique Marseille.

The 19-year-old is one of the most exciting young talents to emerge from the Nerazzurri’s youth ranks over the past few years.

The attacking midfielder spent the previous campaign on loan at Monza. He managed to contribute with two Serie A goals and four assists.

The teenager’s performances caught the attention of Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni who added him to his Copa America squad.

But despite his great promise, Inter could end up selling Carboni this summer. This scenario is becoming increasingly plausible, especially following Tajon Buchanan’s injury.

The Canadian will be out of action for around five months after undergoing surgery to repair his fractured tibia.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the wingback’s injury could force Inter to alter their plans.

The Italian champions may have to resort to the market to find a new winger.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri might not be able to afford to keep Carboni on the books. Even another loan move could no longer be on the cards, but only a permanent sale.

Inter Milan Name Their Price For Valentin Carboni Amidst Marseille Interest

So as the pink newspaper reveals, Inter have set their asking price at 30 million euros. Now it remains to be seen if Marseille would be willing to splash this figure.

The Ligue 1 side have been keen to sign the Argentina international. They have recently emerged as the player’s most keen serious suitor.

The Southern French club has recently appointed Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi as their new manager as they look to usher in a new era of success.
