Ndoye has been enjoying a very positive Euros with Switzerland.

The Bologna winger started in all three of his national team’s matches in the group stage of the tournament.

And Ndoye was the scorer of Switzerland’s opening goal in their final match of the group stage against host nation Germany.

Ndoye had also starred for Bologna in Serie A last season. He made the move to the Rossoblu last summer, joining from Basel.

The Emilian team paid a fee of almost €10 million to sign Ndoye. But it has proven to be a good investment.

Ndoye helped Bologna achieve a surprise qualification for the Champions League in his first season at the club.

Recent reports have indicated that Ndoye’s form has caused him to come onto Inter’s radar.

The Nerazzurri appreciate the Swiss international’s versatility. And they have a specific role in mind for him.

Reports have indicated that Inter see Ndoye as an ideal replacement for Denzel Dumfries at right-wingback should the Dutchman depart this summer.

Ndoye has generally played as more of an attacking winger than a two-way wingback.

However, Inter reportedly see the 23-year-old as having the right qualities to transition to a wingback role in a 3-5-2 formation.

Reportedly, Inter Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin scouted Ndoye during Switzerland’s group stage match against Scotland.

And Sky Deutschland journalist Plettenberg has confirmed that there is “concrete interest” from Inter in the 23-year-old’s signature.

Meanwhile, Plettenberg also notes that there a number of other clubs monitoring Ndoye as well.
