Lionel Messi's Inter Miami face FC Porto on Thursday afternoon with both teams looking to potentially move atop Group A in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
Miami and Porto were both held to 0-0 draws on Matchday as respective favorites, the Herons by Al Ahly of Egypt and Dragons by Brazil's Palmeiras.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of the Matchday 2 clash.
After brief speculation that Messi was carrying a knock into the second match, Miami manager Javier Mascherano confirmed in his pre-match press conference that that wasn't the case.

And oddly, Messi and Miami might enjoy more of a home-field advantage in this match in Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium -- a venue where they have played competitive fixtures before -- rather than the local but unfamiliar Hard Rock Stadium, where they theoretically played at home but had their fans outmanned by those of their famous Egyptian foes.
There's also Alba's return. While it's unclear if he's 90-minutes fit, he is often in the middle of Miami's best sequences. And there's the re
Considering all that, look for Miami to at least get a result that prolongs their realistic tournament prospects and maybe even sneak out of Georgia with all three points.
