Inter are still keen on striking a deal with Manchester United for former Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund during the summer transfer window, but are left exploring the possibility of signing the 22-year-old on loan as things stand.
The Nerazzurri are looking to reinforce their attacking department after letting both Marko Arnautovic and Joaquin Correa leave on free transfers this summer, while Mehdi Taremi, currently stranded in Iran, will also be allowed to leave if an appropriate offer comes in.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter are moving closer to a deal with Parma for youngster Ange-Yoan Bonny, who has recently worked under the new Nerazzurri head coach Cristian Chivu, and that Hojlund remains the preferred option to rotate with Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez in the starting line-up.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, United remain adamant that Hojlund will not leave the club for anything under €45m this summer. Any less would represent a capital loss for the Premier League giants, who paid over €75m plus up to €10m to sign him from Atalanta two years ago.
While United are adamant on their €45m valuation, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Inter have slightly less than that to spend on a new striker this summer, which leaves them looking at the possibility of signing Hojlund on loan with an option or obligation to buy.

Sunday’s report claims that the Nerazzurri will push to sign Hojlund on an initial loan deal, including a significant fee, with an option to buy in the summer of 2026.
The Pink Paper suggests that Inter could tempt United with a large loan fee, which they hope will then decrease the cost of an option to buy clause the following summer.
Reports elsewhere indicate that Hojlund is keen on a return to Serie A and keen on the idea of joining Inter this summer, after a disappointing two seasons in the Premier League with United.
