It marks the beginning of a new adventure that will unite Inter and the BYD Group, a global leader in electric vehicle technology and sustainable mobility solutions. The partnership was officially unveiled during a special day at the BPER Training Centre in Appiano Gentile, the heart of the Nerazzurri world, where hard work lays the foundation for future success.

Inter’s Training Centre provided the perfect stage for the event, which celebrated BYD’s launch as the Club’s new Global Automotive Partner. Chairman and CEO Giuseppe Marotta and Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci welcomed BYD Group’s top management to the BPER Training Centre, represented by Executive Vice President Stella Li, Alfredo Altavilla, BYD Special Advisor for Europe, and Alessandro Grosso, BYD’s Country Manager for Italy.

This marks the beginning of an international collaboration between two brands united by a shared vision: transforming passion into tangible achievements through the celebration of talent, determined to become leaders of their respective sectors, the continuous pursuit of excellence, and an innovative and pioneering attitude towards the future. The partnership was sealed during the event at the state-of-the-art Club House at the BPER Training Centre and will see Inter and BYD collaborate for the next three seasons.

The event also showcased two of BYD’s electric and super plug-in hybrid (DM-i) models, the Denza Z9 GT and the Sealion 7, a true technological flagship that embodies the brand’s green evolution. As Global Automotive Partner, BYD will supply around 70 custom-designed vehicles from this model to Inter’s top management, coaching staff, and First Team players. These special editions will feature personalised details inspired by the Nerazzurri colours. Soon after, the very same models will be available in a limited edition for Inter fans and enthusiasts, offering them the chance to travel in the same car driven by the Club’s players, fully immersed in the Nerazzurri spirit.

After seeing the vehicles up close and experiencing BYD’s technological innovations first-hand, the two management teams took part in a special talk where the new partnership was presented to the attending journalists. During the event, Giuseppe Marotta, Giorgio Ricci, Stella Li, and Alfredo Altavilla highlighted the shared goals of the deal:

At the end of the talk, there was a Q&A session, a chance to explore the unique potential for developing innovative projects through the collaboration between Inter, the Group, and its two brands, BYD and DENZA. The latter is the company’s premium brand and is set to be introduced in Europe over the coming months. This event brought the curtains down on a special day, one that officially marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey with Inter and BYD at its heart.
