Following his absence against Brentford at the weekend, Ben White has returned to training with Arsenal.

The Gunners had an open training session at London Colney on Tuesday morning, and White was involved with the squad along with Thomas Partey, another injury doubt from the weekend.

As expected, there was no sign of Jorginho, who is reportedly set to miss a few weeks of action with his chest injury. Riccardo Calafiori also seemingly remains absent.

Nathan Butler-Oyedeji was involved in the session, with the expectation that the youth forward will be in the travelling squad for Wednesday after he missed the Arsenal u21s’ game against West Bromwich Albion on Monday.

Other youth players involved were Teshaun Murisa, Josh Ogunnaike, and Ife Ibrahim, though it’s less likely those three will make the trip to Spain.

Tommy Setford should also make the journey as Arsenal’s third-choice goalkeeper.

Gabriel Jesus, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Gabriel Magalhaes are all definitely out for the season, whilst Kai Havertz only has a chance to return at the very end of the campaign. None of the four will be involved in Madrid.

The Arsenal squad will travel to Spain later on Tuesday, with Mikel Arteta holding a press conference at 18:15 BST.
