Stones is expected to captain England tonight in their Nations League game against Greece, and there are also three Chelsea players in this squad.

Noni Madueke is unlikely to start the game tonight, but defender Levi Colwill and attacker Cole Palmer ARE expected to start.

Stones raves about Palmer

Stones played with Palmer at Manchester City, and he was very sad to see him go, as you can see in his comments in the image above.

It’s a real compliment to get praise from your former team mates, and it seems that Stones was genuinely upset when Palmer left the club.

They will have another chance to play together again tonight though, and hopefully moving forward with England in future matches and tournaments.
