Cole Palmer does the extraordinary all the time. That’s not surprising.
What is surprising is that after a record breaking four goal in a half performance against Brighton at the weekend, he wasn’t the top rated player in Europe for this matchday. Despite getting a perfect 10.00 on WhoScored’s stats algorithm, Palmer had an equal.
Incredibly, Omar Marmoush – who grabbed two goals and two assists in Frankfurt’s 4-2 win over Holstein Kiel – also managed a 10.
Fair play to him – that’s a pretty impressive effort. Anyone who can keep pace with Cole has done pretty well.
