Chelsea fans aren’t satisfied with UEFA Conference League Football. We want Europa League, and after this weekend’s results it’s still possible.

The top four is settled, but we’re still in the fight with Spurs and Newcastle to make the second tier competition.

What Chelsea must do

Chelsea’s needs are very clear. Win their two games, against Brighton and Bournemouth. That won’t be easy, but is more than do-able, given we’ve got more to play for than them.

But even 6 points from that won’t be enough for us.

We need both Spurs and Newcastle to drop points.  Spurs would have to lose to both Sheffield United and Man City. That’s hard to see.

But Newcastle, who we are now on level points with, could feasibly draw with Brentford or Manchester United. That would allow us to overtake them with two wins.
