Football League World's Coventry City Fan Pundit believes the club should raise their asking price for Jack Rudoni.

Frank Lampard and his Coventry City side are expected to mount a push for promotion this season, and are expected to have a busy final few weeks of this summer’s transfer window.
The Sky Blues are, though, hoping to get through the closing stages of the market with the squad that they want intact, and that could be tested with Southampton reportedly interested in signing key man Jack Rudoni.
Saints have reportedly lined up a move for the former AFC Wimbledon and Huddersfield Town man should they cash in on Mateus Fernandes, who is the subject of interest from West Ham United.
As exclusively revealed by Football League World, it is believed that Coventry have set a £15 million asking price on Rudoni, with City not keen on selling their star attacking midfielder.
After a brilliant season last year as he inspired Coventry to the semi-finals of the Championship play-offs, Rudoni has marked himself out as one of the very best midfielders in the second-tier.
It is therefore no surprise that FLW’s Coventry Fan Pundit Chris Deez believes that £15 million would be too low a fee for Rudoni, and he believes Coventry should push for more.
Chris says: “To be honest, I’d be massively disappointed if we only got £15 million for Rudoni.
“When you consider the fact that Jobe Bellingham went for £30 million to Dortmund, and I know the fact that they are slightly different players, but the fact that Rudoni pitches in with so many goals and so many assists.
“If a couple of teams are interested like Southampton, Newcastle, I’ve heard that Leeds are interested as well then they can all get in the bidding war then I would hope to get at least £20 million for Rudoni.
“We’re going to need somewhere around that amount to first of all replace him and then to use some of it to go for the likes of Doyle and Hughes, the centre-backs we’ve been linked with, a goal scoring striker.
“With Rudoni, honestly I’d hope he goes to Newcastle because then I think we’ve got a chance of keeping him here on loan for six months until Christmas or until the next summer window.
“That gives us much more time to plan because obviously there’s only just over two weeks of the window left and as much as £20 million would be nice, who are we going out and buying who is readily available, happy to come to the Championship, happy to come to a team that isn’t guaranteed to be pushing for automatic promotion and a team that isn’t going to be able to spend £40,000 to £50,000 per week on wages? There’s probably not going to be too many options out there.”
Having made the play-offs for a second time in three seasons last year, Coventry are expected to push for promotion once again this summer, and their campaign has started steadily.
They began with a goalless draw at home to Hull City on the opening day of the Championship season, before then edging past Luton Town by a goal to nil in the first round of the EFL Cup, courtesy of a second-half strike from Ellis Simms.
Coventry have quite a bit of work left to do yet, and there is a fair bit of speculation, too, with it reported that Milan van Ewijk is close to a move to Wolfsburg, as well as the rumours surrounding Rudoni.
The club have also been reported to want a club-record deal for Hull centre-back Charlie Hughes, with Miguel Angel Brau, Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Carl Rushworth their only incomings so far this summer.
