“I want this transfer to happen” – Player ‘is pushing and pushing’ to join Chelsea now | OneFootball

A player is now saying that he wants this transfer to happen and is pushing and pushing to join Chelsea this summer.

There has been so much going on in the transfer market this week just passed and Chelsea have been heavily involved as expected.

The new signing of Jorrel Hato was confirmed by Chelsea yesterday after it was reported that they had agreed a fee with Ajax to sign the highly rated young defender.

Meanwhile, a move for young striker Marc Guiu to join Sunderland on loan from Chelsea has advanced a lot over the week and is now very close to being one of the next deals to be agreed and announced.

And as well as all of the above, Chelsea are obviously still trying to sign Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig in a move that has turned into a bit of a transfer saga now.

Fabrizio Romano had some updates on Simons to Chelsea last night on his YouTube channel, and it sounds like he is pushing hard to get the deal done now.

He says:

“Xavi Simons is starting to enter the moment where he says, “Okay, I’ve been waiting for weeks now. I want this transfer to happen.” This is the feeling! The player wants to go! He’s made it clear again to Leipzig over the weekend there is NO chance to keep him in terms of extending his contract.

“Simons is pushing and pushing because he wants to make his move as soon as possible.”

When a player pushes this hard to leave a club then you usually see it happen and I think it’s just a matter of time before Simons joins Chelsea now at this point.
