Everton will face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Wednesday night at Goodison Park.

This is a “huge game” for the two sides, and especially for the Toffees who are without a win in their last five Premier League matches.

Sean Dyche is under a lot of pressure at the moment, and Everton fans are getting frustrated with the recent results and quality of performances as well.

Chris Sutton says that Dyche cannot be blamed for Everton’s current situation. With a tough run of games coming up, they badly need a win, and the popular pundit has predicted a 2-1 win for the Toffees against Wolves.

Sutton told BBC Sport: “Gary O’Neil’s side has conceded 32 goals in 13 league games, which makes me think even Everton will score against them.

“This is a huge game at the bottom of the table and my first thought was to go for another draw, but I am actually going to go with the Toffees to nick the three points.

“They certainly need them, with a tough run of games coming up, starting with the Merseyside derby on Saturday.”

Everton need to finish off their chances

The Toffees are heading into the game on the back of a demoralising 4-0 defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Another frustrating result on Wednesday could create a toxic environment at Goodison Park, although David Moyes feels that Everton have enough quality to avoid relegation.

The biggest problem for Everton at that moment is that they are struggling to finish off their chances. Against United, they created some fantastic opportunities, but they just can’t score.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has managed only two goals in 13 games, while Beto has not played regularly. Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti have returned to training, but they are still not fit enough to start games.

Wolves are in the relegation zone, and they are very fragile defensively. If Everton can get a goal early, expect them to pick up all three points.
