The Magpies boss oversaw three wins from four league matches, beginning the month with a 2-1 comeback win at Tottenham Hotspur before recording a 3-0 success against Wolverhampton Wanderers - their sixth successive Premier League victory.

Howe, who was shortlisted for last month's gong, finished the month with a 3-1 win against Southampton, helping United secure a fourth Premier League away victory in a row for the first time since 1996, to move Newcastle into fifth place of the English top-flight.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, Pep Guardiola of Manchester City and AFC Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola are also nominated for the award.

Voting is now open here and closes at 12 pm (GMT) on Monday, 3rd February as Howe aims to win the coveted prize for a sixth time.
