Rangers are aiming to make it back-to-back Scottish League Cup final victories
Rangers will be out to end a run of three successive defeats against Old Firm rivals Celtic in Sunday’s Scottish League Cup final at Hampden Park.
The Gers have not tasted victory in this fixture since May 2023 but are the defending champions having beaten Aberdeen in last season’s final and should take confidence from the nine-game unbeaten run they’re currently on.
In the opposite corner, Brendan Rodgers is aiming to bring the trophy back to Celtic Park for a third time in four seasons especially after a shock second round exit at the hands of Kilmarnock last year.
The two rivals actually met in the Scottish Cup final last season with the Hoops emerging victorious thanks to last minute winner from Adam Idah.
